Here's another Asian card. The gold and red print papers are washi (Japanese) paper. A black tassel is tucked behind the red square. Because the washi paper is flimsy, I covered a square of cardboard with the red paper, giving it a raised look. The card is an ivory cardstock that has a tiny star pattern on it. This card is very classic looking.
I still occasionally enjoy making handmade cards. My passion these days is sewing and quilting. I grew up surrounded by beautiful fabrics. I have found it is something I thoroughly enjoy. Sharing my thoughts of what is going on in my life through this blog is also something I enjoy immensely.
