These next 3 were from a "Background Card Swap". The backgrounds had to be embossed in some way, whether using dry embossing with a machine such as a Cuttlebug, or dry embossing with embossing powder. I chose dry embossing with a machine so the cards I got back were in the same category.
This card with the butterflies is similar to the one I did.
Here's a close-up of some of the detail that was done on the card.
The hostess of the Background swap also did an "Extra Card" swap. Those that joined this swap had to submit 10 cards that were either extras from other projects or cards that were received from other swaps. So here's the one's I got back. Some of them are really nice.

Beautiful assortment Betty! I love the little flowers on the girl scout card. I have to get me some of those now. Wonder if Ben Franklin here would have them.
jalna: They might...look in the section where they'd have stuff for weddings. If you can't find any, let me know. I know Michael's carries them, maybe not exact but similar. These may have been made with a die cut...a strip of paper then it is rolled and glued together.
I love your card for the Happy Birthday Kids Swap!!! Your cake colouring is great and the elements of the card and colours are just wonderful!! I love the diamonte on the candle, nice touch!!
Hi Lauren, thanks for your comment. I wasn't sure I was going to like that card, however, I think it turned out nice. Took a while to color the birthday cake, the spaces were so tiny to color in and then I used so many colors... :)
